The girls:

On Saturday March 6, 2010 we finally got these 2 girls.....both girls were in a very bad shape and to be honest with you, I honestly thought Bousa wouldn`t make it. But thanks to the help of Doha Vets and my friends they did.
Both girls were taken in to the Vets and had some severe treatments.....food/water and a warm bed to sleep.
The next day I posted some picture of the girls on my FB Dogs in Doha, and I got a phone call from one of my friends, who offered to Foster these 2 girls until they were back up their feet.
So the day after we rescued them, I took them to my friends house, they were a bit wary and confused, as they have never been inside a house before......
My friend started to give them a couple of times a day food and a lot of love.......
After 2 weeks both girls had put on some weight, unbelievable..... Bousa added 8,4kg and Sanaya 4,8kg

PREPARING the Girls to go to the States!!!

After the girls put on enough weight, and after being checked up again by the Vet, the girls now were ready to get spayed.
And get them ready for a new loving and caring home.....
Thanks to my friend, Robin, from the Italian Greyhound Rescue-group in Dallas-Texas we were able to find them a Foster home in Texas. So we started to prepare all the necessary arrangements to fly the girls to the States.
Nicky, from Qatar Pet Travel helped me out with the paperwork and Judy offered to take the 2 girls as accompany baggage on her flight to Houston. In Houston they would be picked up by another friend, who is involve with rescuing animals, and so they flew on Monday the 12th of April to a new start in life to Texas.
